This Holiday Season, I was very happy to be able to record one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs...The Little Drummer Boy.  I hadn't released a solo recording since 1994, and I'm touched by the enthusiasm and support for it from all of you.  However, more important than the CD, was the experience I had while recording it.  As I sang and drummed my way through this Christmas classic, I couldn't help but think about my own "little drummer boy," my oldest son Jason...or Elder Osmond, as he is currently serving his mission for our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).  My mind drifted off to all that he means to Kandilyn and me, what a wonderful big brother he is to Eric and Marcus...and the great things he is accomplishing as he serves in the Tennessee Nashville Mission.  It was the thoughts of my own drummer boy as I made this recording, that I decided to dedicate the song to all those drummers out there who love the Savior Jesus Christ.  So, you can see why this was a very special thing for me to be able to do this Holiday Season.  In fact, as I think about it, this recording ended up being a gift to myself as well.
