| I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but it's getting
cold here in Utah. It's the time of year when you have to look out the
window in the morning to see how to dress. It can be so cold in the
morning, but too warm in the afternoon. I'm never sure when I should put
my sandals in storage! I wanted to let you know that I've made several scrapbook kits since my
trip to Branson. I made some simple ones, and some more elaborate ones.
Here are a couple of photos to give you an idea of what they look like.
We still have some kits from The Osmond Brothers' performance in Layton,
Utah. I've put those on SALE and don't plan to make any more for that
particular show. I think I'm also done with Branson until next year. |

I have a favor to ask. Do any of you remember the days when Jay and his
brothers used to perform on stage in white "Elvis-like" outfits? It was
back in the 1970s. I've seen clips of those performances, and noticed
that they each had a symbol or nickname on the back, and something
specific to each of them on their belt buckles. I think Jay's said,
"Jason," which was his nickname. He might have had a pair of drumsticks
on the back of his suit, maybe? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone
remembered all those details. I'd like to know from Alan to Jimmy, if
possible. We've been thinking of doing something with it for our shop.
If anyone knows, and wouldn't mind sending me a "conversation" on etsy I
would greatly appreciate it! Just go to
kandiskorner.com and go to
"contact kandiskorner." Thanks in advance!
Well, I've torn some muscles in my back and will be laid up for awhile.
I've learned that sharp, shooting pain is BAD! Not just because it hurts
so much either. I've always believed that I should just "work through
the pain" in most cases, but this kind of pain requires more attention.
The good news is that I will be fine. I'm just frustrated because Sharee
and I have our big Craft Fair in Spanish Fork next weekend. I've had to
slow down lately and I just HATE slowing down. Ha! I called Jay this
afternoon and we had a long talk before his show. I really don't like to
tell him too much when something's wrong because he gets upset if he
can't do anything, but I really just needed to hear his voice. Often,
it's all I need to cheer me up! Unfortunately, this situation also
requires lots of ice, ibuprofen and rest, but his voice DEFINITELY
helped! : )
I've heard from several of you who plan to see the show in Branson this
year. As you probably already know, the Brothers are there right now for
the Fall season, but will also be there for the Christmas season. For
those of you who go, please say hi to Jay for me if you get a chance. I
really miss him! I hope you have fun when you go. Branson is a fun town!
Have a wonderful week,
Kandi
