July 25, 26 & 27 2008
- Performances...
At the top of this page is a photo of
the Osmonds on stage for the Friday, July 25th performance. The
Conference Center holds 21,000 people, and both performance nights
were full to capacity.
Below are photos from the live radio
broadcast Sunday, July 27th, "Music and The Spoken Word," which
featured The Osmond Family as special guests...

Before this live broadcast, the Osmond
family went up to the choir loft to thank the Mormon Tabernacle
Choir

The Osmonds sang "Are You Up There," "I
Believe," and "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother"

The broadcast finished with the Osmond
Family joining the choir to sing "Come, Come, Ye Saints"

After the broadcast, President Monson
joined the family on stage.

President Monson presented The Osmond
Family, and their Music Director, Jerry Williams, with each
individual's favorite scripture, beautifully framed.

This was a very special moment for each
member of the Osmond family.

President Monson concluded his
presentation by requesting that the Osmonds "keep singing,"
and asked the family to turn and face the choir.

The Osmonds were very touched as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir then sang
"God Be With You Til We Meet Again" to the family.

Jay with the gift of his favorite
scripture.
Each Osmond felt honored to end their
50th Anniversary Celebration with the The Pioneer Day
Commemoration Concerts.
