The Utah 2004 Fan Get
Together, held at Daniels Summit Lodge in Heber City, Utah,
opened
Friday, July 23rd with a visit by Jay.
Jay was quite the proud dad as
he announced the band his oldest son Jason is a part of...
WALKINS
LN.
Everyone was very happy to see
Jay, since he had taken a little break
from performing to work on his
degree and to start his career with Osmond Real
Estate.
However, it was an even greater treat when the gang saw he
brought
along Jason and the band, his middle son Eric, and Father
Osmond.

George had a
great time watching the festivities, and greeting
everyone.

The band's
lineup consisted mostly of their own songs, accompanied by a few
cover tunes... the boys were a hit! |
 |
Jay beamed as he watched Jason
and his friends perform.

|
It was a
touching moment when Jason dedicated his drum solo to his
dad... the very drum solo that Jay dazzles audiences with (with a few of his own little changes... as Jason noted!).
Jason was
absolutely fantastic... he obviously has a great role
model! ;-) |
 |

Jay had a special announcement to
make during a break in between songs...
his son Eric had just earned
his brown belt!
Jay boasted proudly that Eric is the first Osmond to
achieve this level.

|
Following the
boys' performance, an autograph line was held. The
boys autographed copies of a drawing of the band by
Jason. |
 |

Jay then set up for photos to be
taken of Father Osmond, Jason, Eric, and himself...
what a terrific
photo opportunity ~ three generations of Osmonds.

As the evening came to a close,
Jay and Jason engaged in a stick tossing competition with each
other.

Jay posed for
photos behind his old drumset (now Jason's drums).

It was an exciting evening to
kick-off the GT weekend...
fun times with Jay, rocking to Walkins
Ln,
a question and answer segment with the band,
a lot of fun jokes,
and some wonderful time to visit with
Father Osmond, Jay, Jason and
Eric.

Does this look like a "70s and
now" photo?
Jason looks remarkably like Jay did at his
age.
